Native webhooks integration & Video iframe as replay

Hi everyone 👋

We have two brand new additions to Livestorm. We built a native webhooks integration and enabled the iframe mode for webinar replay. Here are the details:

Native webhooks integration

A webhook is a URL to which you can send your data. It's a great way to capture any kind of data and send it to any destination you like. This will help our users who've asked for an API in the past ✌️

We provide 4 triggers to send your data as JSON:

  • Webinar is published
  • New registrant
  • Webinar starts
  • Webinar ends (contains all registrants' data)

Unlike our other native integrations, the webhooks integration will apply to all of your webinars. You can filter and choose which kind of data you'd like to keep in your own system once you receive the data from our end.

To set up your webhooks integration, feel free to check our documentation: Livestorm webhooks

Use an iframe from another video platform as replay

You can now fetch a recording that is hosted on another platform, and embed it inside the webinar room as your replay (or on-demand) 🎉

The iframe can be an embed widget from YouTube, Wistia, Twitch, or another platform.

For example, if you'd like to benefit from some advanced video analytics provided by another video platform, this feature is made for you 😉

The steps are easy, all you have to do is go to your webinar settings, click "Recording & on-demand" and choose " Video iframe". Then you can just paste your iframe code to "Replay video source" and you're done. You'll find your video iframe embedded inside the webinar room 👌

You can find more information in our documentation, we cover various scenarios: Webinar replay
